The Duke of York founded Pitch@Palace in 2014 to provide a platform to accelerate the work of Entrepreneurs. Pitch@Palace gives Entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet CEO’s, Investors and potential business partners.
Africa 3.0 Event is supported by Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE). The Entrepreneurs are also part of the RAE AfricaPrize.
The shortlist has come to represent the most talented engineers on the continent. Through the Africa Prize, we’ve seen cutting edge technologies and world-firsts develop into businesses that manufacture locally, and drive research and development on the continent.

Sandel designs, manufactures and sells innovative agro-processing machines including the ‘3-D-3-P’ industrial dryer.

Safe Motherhood Alliance is a social enterprise that develops simple, low-cost, single-use disposable ‘baby delivery kits’ for pregnant women in low-income communities and rural areas.

Technovera is a social enterprise start-up that has developed ‘Pelebox’, a smart locker system that allows patients with chronic conditions to collect their medication in under a minute.
