African Startups @CampusLondon

Background:

Google for Entrepreneurs previously supported 14 African Startups on a Tour of Tech Cities Across Europe [the PitchDrive tour] with the aim to raise €20M in funding from investors. The PitchDrive tour started in London on 14th of August 2017, and the selected startups visited Google’s Campus London, TQ Amsterdam, Factory Berlin and Impact Hub in Zurich, concluding at NUMA Paris.

This was the first tour of its kind connecting African tech companies with European capital, with the PitchDrive team led by CCHub Nigeria, aim to open up the sector to investors who desire to include emerging markets in their portfolios. The trip helped to secure a number of capital deals and was a rewarding journey.
