Go Global Hong Kong & China: a focus on e-commerce

The trip, part of our Go Global programme, is retail focused and offers UK business owners the exclusive opportunity to immerse themselves in the Chinese market during the world’s biggest online shopping day of the year, Singles’ Day!  The programme also includes the chance to meet with distributors, agents, online marketplaces, expert export advisers and key contracts in the region to help you discover, explore and successfully enter the Chinese market.

China is the world’s second largest economy and now the world’s largest market for groceries, luxury goods and e-commerce. Key opportunities for UK businesses, as outlined by the China Britain Business Council, in the Chinese market are selling products on one of China’s e-commerce platforms, promoting products on Chinese social media platforms, luxury fashion and food and drink sectors. It’s an ideal environment for UK retail businesses to look to as an export market.

The five day, four-night mission from 9-14 November is open to just 30 individuals.
